NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE OPTIONS

The PC-EFTPOS system can be used in a variety of network solutions. The flexibility of PC-EFTPOS is one of the keys to its success among both major customers, and POS vendors.

Features:
- Dial-up modem supports up to 32 lanes
- Tran$end and Argent (AABP Protocol) support
- X.25 Communications directly to the bank
- TCP/IP communications (allows for WAN)
- Ability to add extra POS lanes to a store without any modification of the store server, or any additional phone lines.
- The capability to setup a fully redundant EFTPOS system. This allows a store to cover for the failure of their primary link to the bank.
- Wide Area Networking (WAN) option. This option allows a company to concentrate all of there EFTPOS transactions through a central location. This can lower communications costs significantly.
